Sunglasses

Made for the sun.

Hundreds of pairs, from the great fashion houses to independent labels — in our sunglasses lounge on Bank Street.

The sunglasses lounge

A room devoted to sunglasses.

Sage walls, trailing plants, a gilded mirror and shelf after shelf of sunglasses — our sunglasses lounge is one of our favourite corners of the practice. Take your time trying on as many pairs as you like.

Our team will help you find the shape and colour that suit you, and adjust your new pair so it sits perfectly.

Prescription sunglasses

Clear vision, in the sun.

If you wear glasses, you don't have to choose between seeing clearly and protecting your eyes. We make up prescription sunglasses — single vision or varifocal — using ZEISS Sun Rx lenses, fitted with the same care as your everyday glasses.

  • Polarised lenses to cut glare from water, snow and wet roads
  • Solid and graduated tints in a choice of colours
  • Mirror finishes
  • Light-reactive ZEISS PhotoFusion X lenses that darken outdoors and clear indoors
Protect your eyes

More than a look.

Too much ultraviolet light can damage the eyes over time and is linked to cataracts and macular degeneration. Good sunglasses are as much about eye health as style.

  • Choose lenses with 100% UV protection (UV400)
  • Look for the UKCA or CE mark
  • Larger frames and wraparound shapes protect more of the eye
  • Children's eyes are especially sensitive to UV — sunglasses matter for them too
