Information we hold
To provide eyecare we hold the personal and health information you give us, including contact details, medical and family history, examination results, prescriptions and details of goods supplied. We use this to provide your care, meet our NHS and legal obligations, and contact you about appointments and recalls.
Sharing your information
We only share information where needed for your care or where the law requires it — for example with your GP, the hospital eye service, or NHS Scotland for NHS services. We never sell your information.
Online booking
Online appointments are handled by our booking provider, Xeyex, which receives the details you enter so your appointment can be made.
This website
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies and collects no personal information unless you contact us or book online. Fonts are provided by Google Fonts and the map on our contact page by Google Maps, which may set its own cookies. Videos on our eye examination page are hosted by YouTube and only load — in privacy-enhanced mode — if you choose to play them.
Your rights
You have the right to access your information, to ask us to correct it, and to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). See access to your records.
